The Bear Centre is a museum dedicated to brown bears, the animal that symbolises the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. It provides visitors with the opportunity to discover plantigrade biology and its relationship with man.
After looking round the museum, you can visit the fauna area in Albarè, where you can see some semi-free roaming brown bears. The area is also home to wolves and an educational farm.

“ONCE UPON A TIME” PARK SAN - LORENZO IN BANALE Permanent ethnographic exhibition housed in “Osei”, a recently rebuilt seventeenth century building. The exhibition preserves the memory of country life.

The Adamello Brenta Nature Park is the largest protected area in Trentino, situated in West Trentino, covering 620.51 km² including the Adamello and Brenta mountain groups. It is home to a surprising range of fauna; as well as brown bears there are chamois, deer, roebucks, eagles, steinbocks, foxes, badgers, martens, Black Grouse and sharp-tailed grouse, marmots, partridges and many other animals both big and small. The flora is also outstanding and very varied with approximately 1,500 species.

“The Man Who Came from the Ice” displayed at the Alto Adige Archaeological Museum in Bolzano is one of the most famous and significant mummies in the world. The “20 Years Since the Discovery of Ötzi” exhibition will run until 13 January 2013.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION - DOSS CASTEL FAI DELLA PAGANELLA The Doss Castel is a rocky spur overlooking the Valle dell’Adige. It was discovered in 1979 and the site dates back to the late Neolithic period and the Bronze Age.
ARCTIC CHAR CENTRE – MOLVENO Visitors to the centre can discover the secret world of underwater life and the animals living there.
Special attention is paid to the Arctic char, a species threatened with extinction.

BELFORT CASTLE – SPORMAGGIORE The ruins of Belfort Castle are situated alongside the state road between Cavedago and Spormaggiore. The first mention of Belfort Castle dates back to 1311. It was made up of the tower, which is still standing today, and another structure at its base.

The Maria Dolens bell pays tribute to all war victims every evening with its 100 tolls.

Beseno Castle is a fortified building used today as a splendid setting for exhibitions and shows. It will be the stage for the show “I cavalieri dell’ Imperatore - Duello e guerra nelle armerie rinascimentali” (The Emperor’s Horsemen – Duel and War in the Renaissance Armoury) from 23 June to 18 November.

You can also hire boats, pedal boats and canoes to enjoy the beauty of the lake or go fishing. In Loc. Ischia there is a multi-purpose centre seating up to 800 spectators. Sports events, conferences and meetings are organised there. There is also a football pitch and a 5-a-side football court as well as the S. Antonio natural climbing wall.

SPORTS/RECREATION CENTRE - FAI DELLA PAGANELLA The sports and recreation centre features an events room with 360 seats and a bar. Other facilities include: two pétanque courts, a volleyball and basketball court, climbing walls and a gymnasium; it is the official headquarters of the gymnastics centres run by the Olympic champion Jury Chechi.
ST. TOMMASO’S CHURCH – CAVEDAGO The Romanesque bell tower dates back to the 13th century. The church was extended and updated over the course of the centuries. ST. VIGILIO’S CHURCH – MOLVENO Built in the 13th century and dedicated to Vigilio, Bishop of Trento, the church features superb Baschenis frescoes. Can be visited every day from mid-June to mid-September. Free entry.
ST. VIGILIO’S CHURCH SPORMAGGIORE This church features a Romanesque bell tower dating back to the end of the 13th century. Count Pancrazio Spaur’s funeral shield is of particular interest. Can be visited every day.
