Can children who are not staying in one of the Group hotels also take part in the Andalo for Family initiatives?

Our activities are exclusively for those staying in Andalo for Family structures.

What should I pack for the children for a summer holiday?

Andalo is in the mountains! So if a storm comes, the summer could get cold. Don't forget to pack a couple of heavier sweatshirts and a warm jacket. Remember walking shoes for our excursions in the Dolomites, and comfortable clothes for playing in the park...

What should I pack for the children for a winter holiday?

The winter here in Andalo is a real winter! It’s cold and there’s plenty of snow... warm clothes and heavy shoes are recommended! Then of course you’ll equipment for skiing or playing in the snow... but if you don’t have everything you need, don’t worry... you can rent it here!

What services do the hotels offer for babies?

From what age can children take part in Andalo for Family activities?

It depends on the activity. Normally the activities are for children of 4 years and upwards, for some activities, younger children can “watch”.

Are animals allowed in the Andalo for Family hotels?

In some, all you need to do is check which ones welcome your four-legged friends.

Are there specially-equipped play areas to take very young children?

During the summer, the green, spacious and well-equipped Andalo sports park offers games and fun for children of all ages, with a staff of entertainers to keep them amused.
The Paganella Kinder Club, a new circuit of three entertainment areas full of games, colour and fun in the snow where you can leave children from 3 to 12 years of age: on the slopes at Baby Park Dosson, at the mid-way stop of the cable-car, and at Kids Gaggiapark/Biblioigloo at Prati di Gaggia and in the Town at Maso Effo.
And finally Bimbolandia, an inflatable play area for younger children next to the Winterpark (inflatables area).

How do I book the ski school?

You can ask the hotel where you have booked, or telephone the Andalo for Family partner schools listed on the website.

Are there services or miniclubs on the slopes where we can leave the children?

At the Laghet beginner’s slope there is the Mary Poppins nursery school.

Are there walks that can be done with push-chairs?

The relatively flat layout of Andalo allows for comfortable walks in town, some of which also go into the forest along an unpaved path; one 5 km trail leads to Molveno lake. For other walks a baby-carrier back pack is recommended.

What if my child is ill and I have to cancel my holiday?

Usually a cancellation gives the hotel the right to keep the deposit paid, but for details of conditions of cancellation you can contact the hotel directly.

Can I rent baby-carrier backpacks, push-chairs or bicycles?

You can rent everything you need for trekking with children directly from a number of our hotels, such as baby-carrier backpacks, push-chairs for unpaved paths or mini bicycles.
If your hotel does not offer this service, you will find a selection of specialist shops in the centre of Andalo which rent this kind of “equipment”.
