Alexander Kashpurin is a pianist, conductor and teacher born in St Petersburg, internationally recognised for his intense musicality and expressive style.
Winner of numerous international competitions, including first prize at the 2026 Liszt Competition in Utrecht, he has performed worldwide, collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors.
Alongside his concert career, he conducts the Infinitum Orchestra and teaches piano at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St Petersburg.
In 2026, Alexander Kashpurin won First Prize and the Audience Prize at the 2026 International Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht, winning over both the jury and the audience with his intense musical interpretation.
In the final, he performed Liszt’s Second Piano Concerto with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Stéphane Denève.
