Discovering the small church of San Tommaso apostle, a little gem of Trentino architecture from the sixteenth century, located on a panoramic rise at the entrance of Cavedago, from which to admire. From here, the view opens onto the Val di Non, with the imposing peaks of Brenta framing the scene. Inside, the ancient frescoes and the intense image of San Tommaso narrate centuries of history and devotion. But the journey doesn't end here!
We will retrace the path of the legendary Via Imperiale, the ancient road that connected Val di Non to Molveno, along which the church watched over as a reference point and protection for travelers. Finally, in the panoramic area next to the church, we will dive into the past of Cavedago, with its ancient farms and the impressive three-arch bridge, a unique architectural rarity in the entire region.
